2016-03-07 Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself

You wanna make the missionaries in your ward really happy?

     1. Open your contacts in your phone
     2. Pray what names in your contacts are ready to hear the missionaries (not necessarily ready to be baptized)
     3. Choose 5 names from your contacts
     4. Give these names to the missionaries the next time you see them
-- If you don’t have an address, keep the name on your list, seek the address, then give to the missionaries.

When one of the Pharasies asked Jesus which commandment was the greatest, (Matt 22:37‐40)

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Ask yourself “how do you love your neighbor like yourself?”

Now look at your list of the 5 names. If you have not made a list yet, you should do so now and still make the missionaries happy. Now this list of names are children of the one and only living God. They have a Father and Older Brother waiting to meet them.

Jesus also taught (Matt:12) “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”

Imaging that you had a deadly sickness but you know someone in Kansas had a cure. You would do everything possible to obtain that cure. You have a cure. You have the knowledge of the Church of Jesus Christ, the same church that he formed. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‐day Saints is not a church reformed, but His church restored.

Love,
