This past week was really good. With skyping my family on Christmas to the lessons we have been teaching. Christmas Eve the District President had us over at his house for dinner. All of his family was there and there was a lot of food. For Christmas we were in a member’s home that looked like an American home on the inside, so it was a bitter-sweet feeling. Then we had a ward party Christmas night and lots of people were there.
I love the people we are teaching. We have seen a lot of progress with them these past few weeks. One of the investigators we have is amazing. He reads the Book of Mormon every day and is so excited to tell us about what he read when we visit him.
I absolutely love the Book of Mormon. Why? Because it is another testament of Christ. It has the basic principles of how we can live with our Heavenly Father, and how having faith in Christ leads us to do amazing things. I know that the Book of Mormon is a word of God. Like the Bible, it testifies of the glory of Jesus Christ, the mercy of Jesus Christ, and the love of Jesus Christ. This book is precious and sacred and when you read it, seeking any question you have, you will find an answer.
